 butt, butt...there was no oily residue on any of the clutch components, flywheel on either side, or the friction disc or pressure plate...that weird how much is all around in that bellhousing though.

Yes and no... the insurance company decided to write it off because there was zero chance of getting a new frame, so now I'm driving it waiting for my new truck... in September. If I'm lucky...

No, but there will be a month after you put in the new clutch and bolt everything back together!

Well, to be honest it may just go to a new owner in that time, but I haven't decided. I did the math the other day when my plates for that 2016 Jeep are due and just to keep plates on it cost me $35.00 a month, that's not including the payments or insurance
Want to have nice things it's gonna cost you:pout:

I see some very old clunker Toyota Trucks get a pretty penny on this web auction called Big Iron.
When I started on this clutch replacement was thinking that may have been the way to go.
For some strange reason I kind of like the 32 year old rig...I guess for one you won't see any this solid without rust that spent their life in Nebraska, nor find one that even after sitting all winter it didn't take but a couple of cranks for it to light off..

They're saying a nasty storm is supposed to come through here Wednesday through Friday. I'm not amused.

Like nasty as in snow? Because we're supposed to have high chance of severe storms including large hail and possible tornadoes. I think Wednesday for us
