If it's for privacy, like the standard vertical slat cedar. I honestly think cedar is the cheapest out there other than may chain link with privacy slats.

If you don't need privacy and get away with split rail, price drops dramatically.

Have you tried Cedar Products in Bremerton? I’ve worked with them for years. Always the best price for cedar. It will at least give you an idea of total cost for DIY. https://www.cedarproductsco.com/mobi/fencing.htm

Oh yeah those are what I used at the last house borrowed someone’s tools to learn pex. It used black rings to clamp and I could use plastic or metal fittings.

seeing as how these press fits are reusable they work best for me. Some of my caps are temporary till I plumb the new bathroom up.

Accessible is a big thing for me, I have a ranch with full basement and 100% of plumbing is between the floors. So it’s all visible. So much easier to deal with.

well, aside from the drains in one bathroom that have to be in the slab. I guess I should say all supply plumbing and 95% of drain plumbing lol.

I only did two mud coats and then textured this afternoon, because my nose is full of drywall boogers and I'm ready to be done with this project. :ballchain: I'll scrape, prime and paint tomorrow morning. Also, it turns out I need a new set of washing machine hoses. Add that tomorrow's list.

Thanks! I could look at pricing...........PT 1x4 and 1x6 are not regular items on the west coast. I need 6ft full blockage on one stretch .

These were french gothic fence pickets from HD we cut off the tops. 6’ fencing at $24/ linear foot gets expensive quick! Ouch.

If u go pressure treated u can use 5/4 deck boards for the uprights

I saw this style of fence a lot around Santa Fe and I really liked it :

Have you priced 5/4 deck boards recently? They're pretty salty!
