washed and sealed it this weekend. prob didn't need it as its parked in the garage and only driven on weekends but it can't hurt

 

For those of you who have replaced the bed side decals, I want to go to all black, after the install are there just individual letters left or a large clear covering over everything

What is that extra piece in the Kicker adapter harness?

 

Factory head unit (non-JBL). No other sound system modifications and no plans to swap head units or add amps anytime soon which is why I went with the Kicker KS series...they are a bit more sensitive and seem to do better with lower wattage factory head units.

 

Those are the supplied in-line crossovers which you have to splice into the factory adapters. All you need is wire strippers/crimpers...everything else was supplied via Kicker/Crutchfield.

Finished up the clazzio PVC seat covers. Added the eBay seat warmers with the rocker switch that installs in the dash and looks stock. I did the back and bottom just didn’t take a pic of that. Have not wired them up yet.

 

Got some fresh geolandars. Finally got rid of my 11 year old wranglers and I couldn’t be happier

 

I take my key fob and put it on my pass around my neck. I've never been too worried about losing it but have seen plenty of people lose keys and I have helped ski patrol search for keys with metal detectors after closing. It's more of a peace of mind that if something ever does happen I have a way to get in my truck and get wherever I need. Also my wife doesnt know about it so I'm waiting for that chance when she uses my truck to prank her by stealing it. Hopefully that will really make her not want to borrow my truck again.

 

Indeed, you can go up to 8" above the prop rod height. And for those concerned about too much height, you can set the hood height during installation to whatever height you want, to make sure you don't hit the ceiling or put the hood out of your own reach .

 

Yes the box will be there all the time. I always take my keys but I go a lot of places, mountains and backcountry with no cell phone reception, where it would be a really bad situation if I lost them. I took out the battery so there would be no signal and so that it wont corrode in the fob over time.

 

I cut to fit a OEM T4R rear cargo mat I had laying around to fit over the passenger side rear deck for added protection,
and kept my bed-rug Truck mat on the smaller section.

 

Got around to installing total chaos bed stiffeners and meso tails.

 

I am not keen to returning to the car once my ski day starts, unless I happen to park on the Alta Bypass Road and am skiing Peruvian at the Bird...
I can see a lanyard breaking away if the snow snake attacks.
Having the key in a sealed pouch in am armband worries me not.

 

Did the cheap and easy Subaru tweeter upgrade and gotta say… stoked on it! Took 15mins max and IMO made a big difference. I spend about 1:30hrs commuting in the truck each day along with road trips and we listen to a ton of music. For the price/ease this was a no brainer for me. Settled on the settings below as others have suggested and feels good for now. Thanks TW!
