The first photo is a 265 75 on the zero offset and the 2nd photo is a 305 70 on the -25 offset. So you can see there isn't a HUGE difference when you consider the tires themselves are over and inch and a half difference. Offset is in millimeters. I love these wheels. I should be working for Dustin.

It won't rub on the suspension. It will usially rub on the plastic a little with a 256 75 16.

I wanted to stay with a 16 for more sidewall. Tires are usually a little cheaper in the 16 too. I would would get a 15 inch wheel of it would fit. I don't like big wheels.

I’m so torn on the -25 or 0 offset with my 265/75/16.

Or saying Fuck it sell those, and get the 17x8.5 -6 off set of the 5 stars lol

It's all about preference. If I were gonna do 17s I'd probably get the mickey thompson baja boss in the 4 ply. It's in-between the sl and e rated tires. But they don't offer it in a 285 75 16. But since you already have tires I'd stick with a 16. Thats only because I don't enjoy trying to sell stuff

    Ya I’m
Just getting into off roading and tbh will probably stick with “basic” trials for now. So I should be ok with the SL 265 ridge grapplers I have? They only offer a C in 285 17

only e or sl in 16 so with with sl

Oh yeah SL is perfect for 99 percent of people. The e rated is really meant for 1 ton trucks carrying heavy loads.

Yeah. I've taken SL in some very rocky areas and had no issues. I wouldn't get an E rated tire if I could get the 4 ply in the size wanted.

What should you air down to on basic trials?

I don't bother airing down for a basic trail.

Since you are just getting into it you should be fine. Use your head and if it looks like a bad spot avoid it. Don't go on some crazy trail alone. I've done that and ended up being stuck up to my fenders for hours. That was many years ago though. Being young and dumb
