That looks great. Is it a campground? Reason I ask is because of the wooden barriers.

I love, love, love my family. But camping with them is a chore. I have to make it as comfortable as possible for them. It borders not even camping with all the "accessories" we need. When it was just me, I could camp with the bare minimum and have a great time. I do miss those days. Great pics!!!

same here...my inherited kids had NEVER even seem the outside of a hotel room until they met me. My wife as well...Tried for three years to get them inito the camping thing, but it will never happen. They all ened their wi fi and flush toilets.

My wife is more adaptable, so ow, we do an "adult" vacation where we glamp; a "kids" vacation where we basically drive to the most congested, touristy areas on the east coast; and then my own camping vacations where it is just a tent, a camp stove, my mountain bike and a book

Cant believe Ive never posted in this thread. Ive had so many different setups but I wont bother going back through them all. Here is my current setup.

GFC V1, OVS Nomadic 270, ATOverland slide with Partner stove and Dometic fridge, custom water/storage sliding cabinet, 100w of solar, Genesis Offroad dual battery setup. The truck itself has a laundry list: RRWs on 315s, JDFab subframe, 12" rear shock conversion with King resi's all around, Coastal bumpers, custom sliders etc.

This week I camped at Sheep Bridge AZ and outside of Mt Wrightson (Sonoita/Patagonia) AZ. Truck is a 2018 with 85,000 miles. I drive the piss out of it on road and off and camp ~30 nights a year.

I didn't see anything official but scuttlebutt was 3-5" at elevation. Know Casablanca was open today--not sure if it'd closed at some point recently or not.

Is that the east side of the Verde River at Sheep's Bridge. I haven't figured how to get to that side.

Nope its the west side. To get to the East side you go to Catfish Point, North of Bartlett Lake, and cross the dam there. Then follow the dirt road North.
