    Hope all goes well @TOYTONKA. I believe FRO is the preferred physical therapy offering in your area. I could be wrong.

    Today was the first "Save the Iron" road trip of the season.
    200 miles round trip to Shenandoah, Pa get this 1967 Wisconsin engine.

    Saw this 1962-68 International retired by the side of the road -- for a long time.

    And this miniature roadside library in a little burg.

    Honestly... To sit in the garage with at least a dozen (or two) similar ones. ;)

    Wisconsin 2 cylinder engines were used on many types of equipment. Hay balers, mowers and other farm machinery, pumps, generators, welders, conveyors, air compressors, amusement park rides. Anywhere a heavy duty engine in the 12-18 horsepower range was needed. They were a premium engine so you won't find them on a cheap piece of equipment. Most came with a lever operated snap action clutch, it was either in or out.

    This one is unusual in that it has a 3 speed with reverse transmission (same as 50's- 60's Jeeps) and a vehicle application clutch.

    @steelcity2
    Here is a view of the massive crankshaft and tapered roller bearings inside of a similar engine, remember this is "only" an 18 horsepower engine.

    Never again will simple utility items be made with the quality and pride our forefathers put in to mundane products.
