Here you go. With more snow on the way, maybe I'll get a few more uses out of the stove.

anyone have measurements handy of the top of the fridge counter space? I'm curious if a double burner with a propane tank could fit up there or if you're relegated to a single burner camp stove when using that location.

Just wanted to follow up here, the Camper Jacks are not that difficult to use with a cordless drill, as long as you A. don't whack yourself in the face (yes, it hurts), and B. don't crush the top of the cab taking it on or off too fast without paying attention (my buddy has a nice scratch n dent from this).

Also, there's something about 3rd Gen zero point calibration, high C.O.G., and the traction control going off when driving around off-camber turns (or regular turns). Scares the shit out of you! (you've been warned about the traction control). Carry on!

    Great photos!

Side note, if you do end up switching the wheels, you might consider the Super Dakar Zero for the constant added weight.

Just from a guy who is jealous of your Sherptek...what do you keep in those side storage compartments, if you don't mind me asking? with how little storage the kimbo and tacoma combo have, that added bit must be awesome.

Has anyone considered putting a hydronic heating system on the floor and maybe under the mattress?

Yep, kinda figured this was what you were talking about. Looks to be pretty awesome in a van, pretty intense setup though. I think space would be the main concern.

The increase in storage is impressive for sure - we can fit quite a bit, basically you gain the distance from the kimbo wall to about 4" or so past where the normal bedside would be (the entire bed is wider than stock) and the full length of the bed on each side. I can get dimensions for you if you'd like.

I've been needing to fab a tailgate for when the Kimbo is off (which is often) so I finally had a moment to throw a temporary tailgate together and I really like the way it turned out. Next will be getting some sort of latching mechanisms in place (it's just bungeed temporarily) but it worked great for moving a few yards of bark this last weekend.

Oh my, that seems like it'd be the ultimate heating option...it'd be neat if there could be a heating blanket wrapped around the lower part of the Kimbo - just the part that sits in the bed of the truck.

Yes, that's exactly what I was talking about. It can use ether gas or diesel to create heat and could solve the problem of cold feet and chilly beds. It would be nice for pets too. You can have one of their affiliates install, or you can buy the DIY package which includes all the parts plus a two day workshop. They'll even rent you the specialized tools. Cost is the biggest obstacle and it's a doozy.

Like that Idea! The aluminum would conduct the heat great and keep the space on the inside the same. How much to those electric roof heaters draw? The kind that keep snow from icing up.
