Right, If you are worrying about 2k in this market you probably shouldn't be in the market and should just wait. Lots of folks been waiting 10 years now for the housing crash, how's that worked out for them?

I would morally object to paying $5 for a gallon of gas, if gas at the pump is $5 I wouldn't complain about. I wouldn't spend money just to buy a more fule efficient vehicle, or change my driving habits.

Not sure where you are located however I recently picked up a Tacoma for $2k under MSRP. Check out some of the dealers in the Boise area.

Markup in my area is 2k-5k or nothing for the pro. The no markup dealers are low balling with one exception which hopefully stays that way until I get mine.....

im usually in the camp of wait it out but interest rates will go up, and it doesnt look like things are going to get any cheaper. if borrowing money better to do it now than later.

yeah but the truck I traded in was worth even more than that, so the dealer still cut me a check for $5,000 when I signed the papers. Strange times for sure.

Definitely not a Pro. Dealers due rediculous markups in Pros. In CO the dealers even make fake pros to sell and markup.

If you do buy it, tell the dealer you are not paying their dealer doc fee, window etch, extended warranty, price of truck plus tax and tags is the deal..
