I have a 22 SR5, I'm interested in replacing the grill with that semi-circle type grill that the TRD's have. Is that possible? Would I have to have the sensors in the logo re-calibrated?

You can easily replace the existing grill with an OEM TRD Pro grill, but if the sensors move location in relation to the grill you might need to have them recalibrated. You could always order the grill through the dealership and have them install it, if you want to avoid worrying about that. But it will cost you...

Oh gosh, there are a ton of threads on trd pro grills! But, to answer your question, it is easily possible, as the grills are interchangeable. You would not have to recalibrate, but you may have to put a thin washer in the top screw of the sensor on the grill, so that it adjusts the angle of the sensor to make up for the lower height since in the trd pro grills the sensor is lower. I won;t go any further, as there are plenty of posts out there on this.

Gosh no! The one with the chrome trim is on a SR5 and there is a grill that is just like it, which is on the plain SR. It is all black including the trim around the grill. I actually like this all black grill, as shown in your first pic, except for without the chrome trim. It is not a bad looking grill. The second grill pic is on the TRD Sport, commonly referred to as the "chicken wire" grill because that is what it looks like! HATED IT! Look at my profile pic beside this comment, click on it, and you will see a TRD Pro grill that i bought from MadHornets.com for just over $100 including the sensor cover, back in 2019. The TRD pro grill has the letters T O Y O T A across the front of the grill and not the toyota round logo. That is what differentiates it from the other grills. By the way, swapping out the grills is very easy as long as you area careful and can be done in about 20-30 minutes.

I just took mine off my brand new 2022 TRD Sport and put on a Pro Style Grille. I took it off at 180 miles, it's brand new still. I'll sell it to you reasonable if you are near Fresno, CA.
