Hi i just picked up my 2022 Tacoma TRD PRO . It didn't come with the black out badges or hood decal, I was wondering if anyone else had got a trd pro without the matt black hood decal?
or if there is a way to source this?

There's a part number for it, black out can be bought cheaper than what factory wants. Im sure you could buy the decal on eBay or one of the many taco specific websites

I don’t know the part number but the hood decal and the blacked out side Tacoma badges don’t come on the Canadian Pros.

There was someone talking about it recently it’s called a anti glare decal I believe for the hood, maybe that will help you find it.

Hmm. I remember seeing another thread about this last week. Strange because the glare during sunset can get pretty bad and almost dangerous. Talk to your salesperson about it.

    Oh look, another mod....

This would be really cool if they cut out the black letters so the paint color will show up. The lime color next to the black would really make it pop and stand out.

Must have been pre production. The letter are cut out so the lime green is seen on my decal.

I have seen reports from Canadian purchasers stating no decal and the front badges being chrome and rear badges being black. Check the EL Pro thread and Canadian 2022 Tacoma thread.

I hear you. They should have stated differences. I don’t have a part number, sorry.

I don’t have anymore on hand. But I can take more later.

Did you bring it up to the dealer? If/when mine comes in I simply plan to ask them to black out the badges as I know they can do it as part of accessory add on for every Tacoma. The hood decal I'm not sure about, but you think that a part manager at a dealer would know something about this.

Here's a part number from a dealer in Edmonton. This lists it as same from all the years up until 2021. I think 2022 looks different, but maybe calling this dealer may work since they actually have a part number for 2021 listed. They may know the part for 2022?
