I did an overlay on the grill badge, it is two pieces, and turned out ok for a first attempt. I was surprised at the amount of heat it took to keep the flanges/edges tight. So far, no issues with the sensor behind it. The lower strip of tint on the windshield only hides the hood from the drivers seat, reducing some glare, the frt windows are done as well.

Installed a 100 watt solar panel on my Martin rack to feed a Redarc BCDC when the truck is off. Also...

Nothing complements DIY aux wiring better than a nice fire extinguisher so I also mounted a 2.5# Halotron extinguisher in front of my seat with a bracketeer mount.

then when I got home I immediately took the Predator steps off. Crazy that Toyota charges what they charge for them. It feels like you could Bo Jackson those things (for those of you youngin's, Bo Jackson was an awesome baseball player that would snap baseball bats over his thigh and sometimes his helmet).

Possibly just the psychological “power of suggestion”, but, I think my front tires are suddenly louder than usual - haha. Road noise sounds reduced with the windows all closed.

Just the back panel and first 6 inches of the floor area up to the seat backs. That will be for later. Sound difference is all psychological I believe - I think there is some reduction as my front tires now sound a lot louder - haha.

Cleaned the MAF on the 2TR-FE for the first time at 60k miles today. Throttle response is noticeably snappier now.

I put blue tape to block the gaping hole in the intake while the cleaner evaporated off the MAF... turned around 20mins later and that piece of tape was stuck to my arm...Hopefully nothing fell in there :anonymous:

    That’s great to know!

just need to finish out what I have since I can probably get 4-5 uses out of each can before I go to the all in one!

I'm probably wrong, but I think this version is relatively new....it's news to me at least.

Upgraded to the newer version of the RCI front skid(still waiting for the rest of them to ship).
Started to rain, so I backed the truck into the garage and removed the “TRDOR” decals. Red didn’t really go with my color scheme. I think it looks better.
