    You poor poor bastard :(

I legitimately hope you're squirrelling away at least a portion of your wages. When I was your age I was making more an hour than I ever had (comparing it to the next 10yrs of work history after that) and I didn't save shit.

One of my memorable regrets in life

I would really hope he's doing more than just squirreling it away, it needs to be invested otherwise it's just money that's losing value daily.

@Speedytech7 I want that Briggs motor you told me I can have

@Abeyancer so I'm about to order a Teantech clutch, and considering I'm a small guy (165lbs), I figured I could get away with a 10T for MOAR SPEED.

    Live axle recommendations?

Or you think I should go 12T? Or a different brand?

Figured I'd order parts and steel will come when I get to it.

It's all yours but I think it would cost an arm and a leg to ship it. If you have any reason to come up here and visit though you're welcome to it

Listen, some of us tradesmen aren't that smart. Just being able to stuff it into your mattress for a legit emergency is a major success

You do remember I was a lawnmower racing league guy, right?

12 tooth is a good, common enough size to run for a front sprocket. Honesty 10, 11 or 12 is most conmon. I can't recommend a rear axle sprocket size without knowing what size tries you wanna run... 6" or 8"? Or go bonkers and and lift that shit with a 10.5? To be most honest, I'm redneck AF when building toys. I'd get whatever size sprocket I could up front, and whatever tires I could salvage from work, or other people I knew from the circuit (since CL was only an email server and not a household name yet)

Then I'd go to a motorcycle junkyard and buy a rear sprocket that matched a calculated number. Thankfully in today's day and age there are websites like this https://www.gokartguide.com/gear-ratio-chart-speed-calculator/#1

I don’t recognize the brand teantech and Honesty dont know who makes prefab live axles.. Iwould make my own live axles with rhese sprockets and depending on material and my own skill at the time, i would use either weld or collar shafts and keyways to secure it the the axle. The sprocket ratio could be compensated with a jackshaft depending on if the chain size matched or if the available junkyard find was too many teeth short

I don't understand me.... get me on an air cooled, rickety ass construction, backyard bayous, what in tarnation, kinda contraption with wheels and I'll go ballz to th' wallz, no care for safety, bounce it off the Rev, kinda silly.

But put me behind a legit motor vehicle with actual power on a road, and I can barely do the posted speed limit.
