I'll be wandering the rest of the month before I complete the move to NJ. I'll be out your way to check out Screech Owl at some point but likely not in the truck with only 2 seats.

I’m actually looking at getting a 2dr Jeep for this kind of fun.

I’ve got friends that have had both brands, and the common denominator I’ve found to them being unreliable (for the most part) has been negligent ownership.

I miss having a lifted vehicle, and 93 in this car in Morgantown still yields under 20mpg. It’s killing me. Also don’t have to worry about my dog making a mess in it as opposed to my R. I carry blankets in my trunk for her so she doesn’t scratch my seats

Had to pull over and grab a pic of Bickles Knob this evening commute. I barely caught the tail end of the light.
That was a great storm we had, I romped around a bunch in my taco and the sienna (awd). The snow was like cold smoke u could blast thru the deep stuff without packing it under the vehicle lol

Not a Tacoma, but still fun. Working on getting this one soon.

I purchased an ecodiesel gladiator a few months back. It is definitely different from the Taco, but not in a bad way. It's honestly kind of difficult to compare the two vehicles in my opinion. So far, I have not had any buyers remorse, and aftermarket availability is the same or slightly better for the jeep crowd so that's fun.

I looked at the diesel but didn’t want a 4dr, which is the only way. They are definitely nice engines, tons of torque.

Yeah. That is the downside to getting one. I totally understand why they wouldn't put one in a 2 door though lol that would be a little insane.

Size difference isn’t that grand, I figure it’s more for all of the systems required to keep it compliant. Just enough space. Wrangler also doesn’t gain any haulkng or towing number improvements either, it’s the exact same frame so it gets the same numbers. Gladiator is the way to go for it.

I’m sure you’ll see me around if you’re still in Morgantown. I’m. .. easy to spot :D
