It’s not, truck had the privacy dye in the rear. All windows meter at ~10%

Factory truck comes with tinted glass but it’s not removable tint

 

I drilled holes in the side of the frame and used 1/4 tnuts and Allen bolts https://www.tnutz.com/product/et-010-1-4-20/ . The way my bars are situated left a 1/2" gap so I used nylon washers to fill the gap. The wires run down the driver side windshield trim then under the hood.

 

So it's possible to dye the glass??

No idea. Most newer vehicles come with the back tinted around 20%. That’s why people say “I tinted my fronts to match the rears”

Since I've been stuck getting my ass handed to me with midterms, I haven't had much time to do anything to the Tacoma, but at least for one of my classes, we had to do full editing of a photo, with a full write up, and you all already know what I used a photo of!

Did my first oil change at 1947 miles last night. The mileage was low and supposedly these come with synthetic 0w20 already in them that will last 10k, but it's been 8 months and I really wanted to see how the filter was doing with it being my first new motor. Filter looked as expected for the first change with no cause for concern and oil came out smoooooth and glitter-free. Made a mess as I've never seen an oil drain plug that points straight down before but good news is that my Scion and the Tacoma take the same oil and filter so I can stock up and do them together annually from now on and save a little doing them at the same time.

Mobil1 0w20 w/ TRD oil filter in the truck now.
