    I did mention needing a deep pocket. I will counter with you'll likely buy two or three pairs of boots from other manufacturers before needing to rebuild a pair of Whites. I bought my smokejumpers in the early 2000s for about $350ish. I wore them for about 10 years and they are still good boots.
