For basic steps, I would reseat the low connector, then start a trace between it and the A-pillar. You may have a broken wire or something along the way.

Just as an FYI, I ordered and installed these foot well lights without any problems that I ordered through TacomaBeast. I did have the double connector issue with room for the bend needed to get it to fit that appears to come with double cab scenarios (just like Chloe had). I snipped out a couple more zip ties to get slack and it mostly worked but it was a pain.

After about 3 weeks, all of a sudden my 21 Tacoma Pro started throwing errors for the Pre-Collision, Auto-dim headlights, and lane departure sensor(s). This was out of the blue as I haven’t fiddled with the truck since then installing the lights. Took it to the dealer. He was able to track it down to the A-Pillar piggy back connection for the footwell lights. I had to pay for the diag because it wasn’t a warranty issue in the end. Not happy about that.

The tech couldn’t even clear the errors until he disconnected it and plugged the OEM connectors back the factory way. He plugged it back in and the errors came right back. Left it disconnected. I opened a ticket with Tacomabeast and they are going to hit up VLEDS about next steps. I am not posting this to cause worry but just in case someone else experiences this, they should also pipe up. As this moves along I will report back on what has been done.

I do like these and they work fine. I was ready to order the rear seat ones as soon as they are available. So I’m a little bummed. Hopefully we can find the problem/answer so I can keep it and will share that as well once we get to the bottom of it.

This came across my desk today. Sounds like a ground or another contact might have wiggled loose on the harness. Sorry for the inconvenience. I see you're in the valley -- if you want me to take a look at your truck just let me know. I'm down in Eugene and can diagnose your issue.

Thank you, I’ll try to send you a pm. I’m not opposed to finding the issue so I can keep them. Bonus you aren’t that far away! Fairly new account (my old one from 2010 got deleted from not using it) so we’ll see if it lets me send you a pm lol

Installed my rear FWK today. Due to my Wet Okole covers I decided to go the Velcro route and I think it came out great.

Routed the wires under the passenger side kick board, then behind the seat and then under the carpet.

From there I went under the cubby and just had them come out from under the edge. Velcro is surprisingly strong.

I’ve got tracking for some of the kits coming to the northwest  won’t be long. Should be just enough to fulfill back orders if you’ve been waiting. A little longer still to go on the remainder of the order.

We appreciate your patience! We actually thought we had enough kits in the first run to meet demand for a while but like any new product couldn't accurately estimate, so we tried to tack-on another order after everything was nearing the sold-out point. Then we've just hit factory delay after factory delay. Luckily things are shaking loose now. Hang in there!

Got my lights this week and finally had time to install them today. Getting everything wired up in the A-Pillar nearly whooped me but I got it done. They look great and go perfectly with the 5500K VLEDS interior lights I bought at the same time.

I love these lights. I've had mine installed for almost 3 months now - front and rear. My wife even comments about how much she likes them whenever she gets in the truck. :)
