Test fit/prototype of a stowable 60% seat delete platform minus the seat delete! lol. Finished version will be fully carpeted/blacked out and potentially ABS to shave weight. Using it bare for now to see what gets in the way/where I want to add things to it! Maybe add some quick release containers which attach to the platform, some kinda cooler system, slide out storage, who knows.

I throw so much shit in the back while camping, I wanted a larger, smoother, more durable platform. Would stretch it 100% across but for the same reason I'm not deleting the two seats, one day I may need to put someone back there. Plus the 60% can actually fold and store in the cab or bed.

Great inspiration to do the same. I keep going back and forth with RSD but every so often I do carry people.

As the u see seat storage is almost wasted/inaccessible when travelling I've also been thinking of using the space for a 12V setup.

my brain remembered how you built those hinges a little differently :cookiemonster:
but right on! Gives me a little better of an idea. Those 4X Innovation hinges is something i'll most likely get if i dont go the bronze bushing route like you did.

Good to know. I just looked up the US campaign on the NHTSA site and it expires on April 30, 2025, three years from now. Canadian campaign is likely the same.

The US notification letter says the owner is responsible for removing mods which interfere with the work (like headache rack or camper shell). Does the Canadian letter mention that too?

@TunedUpTaco do you see the campaign when you plug in your VIN on Toyota's site? https://www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/owners/recalls If you see it online, you don't have to wait for the notification letter.
