Reminds me of my visit to the wine and spirits store aboard Camp Lejeune last week. When I inquired about Blanton’s they said they received SEVENTY-TWO bottles the prior Monday. It was gone within two days even though they don’t put it out on the shelf. Perhaps even more staggering, they received Stagg in that order as well. Immediately gone.

The base exchanges are tiring of getting calls all the time asking about stock, but equally tired of having special call lists. I feel for them, even as I call once a week.

Something I absolutely cannot find and have not heard of being in stock anywhere for at least a year: Weller. I wonder why.

 

They are sellng the 'O' bottles cheap cause they are actually full of Jim Beam...
