Seems like childcare is typically 10-30k/yr depending on how many kids and area/demand and rising. Median income for women is 40k at 30 yrs old (middle of typical child-bearing age range). Tax that a little and you're better off the old fashioned way just from an economics perspective (assuming a dual-earning couple is the alternative). Compounded benefits if you consider the developmental aspects of the child(ren).

Yes. My dad had one when I was a kid. It was a turd. Though if it had 4x4 and a 5 speed he'd probably still have it.

It gets really shitty for single moms.

 

They rust out quick AF and not that strong. Look ok but kinda 90's.

 

Dont be deceived. The smart ones get everything for free and keep their income right at the cutoff. Single dads that make over a limit pay 300 a month in health and get billed out for everything at the beginning of the year, full child care amounts and get fucked on everything legally.
