Good Morning to everyone,
I (Sonny) am not one to usually come to a forum board and voice some concerns, but today is the exception.I had a customer (Another shop it turns out) question the integrity of DSM. It was concerning the infamous Bilstein 5100 series shocks for the Gen. 2's.We have been over this a few times and I am not saying anything about this being related to anything to do with TW. This is the quickest way for me to get what I need to say out to the world.
We (DSM) buy our shocks from RCD (Race Car Dynamics) who is a warehouse distributor for Bilstein and we sell the RCD part # for the Gen. 2's and when we are not able to get the RCD part#, we try and get the Bilstein part # to fill in the holes so to say until we have the RCD #.
I think and merely a theory that the person questioning us was more upset about what we sell the shocks to the TW and other forum members for. My response to this is the following:
Bilstein does not have a MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policy and if they do, they do not enforce it.We have sent Bilstein 4-5 links to other vendors who are selling Bilstein shocks and all Bilstein shocks below what they should be selling them at.Never a response from anyone..
So long story short..Our pricing is staying the same and we will continue to do what we can for TW and its members and if someone or another shop has an issue with something we are doing or pricing, Call us its toll free 1-888-973-6967 and speak to Marco or myself and we will work it out.
But to any vendors out there that have an issue with us....
Call me, the #'s on the site, but do not ever question our integrity as a company.
Thank you for your time and Thank you to all the TW members for your business and we appreciate it.
Sincerely,
Sonny

DSM is gold on TW.

I researched a lot before getting my 5100s. Got an instant response from Marco with a question, me being a noob and all :p

And the best price.

What more could a customer want?

My PM's were always answered in a very timely manner. Sent my order in and instead of just any other company just taking my money and sending out the product, i was replied with a PM thanking me for placing my order with them. Shocks were sent out very next business day and received fast (besides the UPS snow hold up in Illinois lol).

Would definitely do business with this company in the future. A+A+A+ Service from DSM.

Very happy with DSM.
I needed them bad and shopped around and got this reply about DSM from another vendor:
They are selling the RCD version of the Bilsteins. Not sure what the warranty is on those but it's not warranteed by Bilstein that's for sure. RCD is here in San Diego so let me check our cost on those in the am and I'll let you know.
2nd email:

Spoke to RCD this am. Seems once Down South pays the CC fees and shipping they just about break even. We aren't interested at that price, sorry.

DSM pulled through and got them from another source. Great customer service!

I had no issues at all with DSM. I'd buy from them again in a heartbeat.
