MESO X MORIMOTO Full LED Tail lights

That looks fire. I’ve been thinking about doing my tailgate as well. Both the hood and roof are matte black but I like this topography pattern. Where’d you buy? Wet method install?

It controls how the tails operate. They're set to sequential from MESO but if you plug the other one in all 3 bars will flash on and off together

 

installed mine last night, they were mismatched (which I should've checked before) but I had one sequential one regular and had to take them off and switch them.

Otherwise the clear looks insanely good on my wind chill pearl. Will update with pics soon.

 

Well all I can say is they're supposed to be set to sequential. Mine were

 

yea man I was in a hurry to get mine on too. I only checked the left blinker with my buddy behind the truck and as I hopped out he made sure I checked the right. That’s what friends are for. He also made sure to rub in the 650$ price tag, “looks like moneybags is buying dinner tonight”.

Well I’m not going to turn down a reason to fly to Hawaii. I haven’t been since I joined the forum, I might need to plan a trip and get an off-road escort! I bet I can pay out the ass for a Jeep rental.

 

Yeah, prices are pretty steep right now. You can always try Turo and get a Tacoma or 4Runner. That way you blend in better too.

 

I’m probably returning mine. I don’t think they are worth $650…. To many minor issues (broken clips, seals not perfect, potential for leaks/condensation, edges are rough, turn single not quite bright enough during the day). Just seems like they are so close, but for almost $700, not sure it’s really worth it. No to mention yeah, they had our $$$ for 7 months! And all we got was a free T-Shirt. Lol

 

No worries. We will gladly return them for you no questions asked. And sorry we couldn’t give you anything more for free. To my defense, the wait time was outside my control.

 

Starting to prefer the reds -- clear have a little bit of a fishbowl vibe... hmmmm might have to order reds

I think the clears look better in person. All the photos are really nice, but I don't think it does them justice. I'd love to see the reds in person next to my clear lenses for comparison, but I haven't seen any other Taco's in my area with a set of these just yet...

 

Another thing about the Red Lens that I personally wasn't fond of was that it is 95% Red and only that small window for the reverse bucket was clear.

After having the OG Ultimates, I come to really appreciate the Red top and Clear bottom look. Has a very OEM+ vibe.
