Really loving this truck. After 3 Tundras, I'm still getting use to the V6 again. I have to remember not to pull out so quickly....in traffic, in traffic, I meant in traffic.....lol

 

I see all these posts about chrome delete which I think is actually pretty sweet. Haven't gone down that road yet but probably will eventually. One thing I havent seen done is the chrome delete on the driver side, side mirror control on the door. What are people doing here?

I don't have much trouble with that, but I am driving stick so when I put my whole right leg into it the truck goes quick. I'm still running the stock tune, so I'm pretty sure the ECU is trying desperately to justify staying in Atkinson Cycle so it's a little jumpy until I hit about 4 grand in first.

 

im right there with you. mines a 2019, got it april of 2021 with 13k on it, and now im sitting at 38k.....

 

A couple of posts where people scuffed it up and painted it. Also have seen a snug fitting black rubber cap on it.

 

There's a few post. But your mirror knob is "Black" Chrome. Not the silver chrome. you're good to go! Not worth the effort IMHO.

 

Very nice setup. Interesting to see that your 2nd battery fits behind the seat with the plastics removed. Do you have any more info or a writeup on this install? I'm mostly curious about what battery you're using. I'm running a dual AGM setup at the moment (using an OGE kit with the Blue Sea smart relay), but I would love to get into a Lithium setup for my house battery instead of the AGM. I just didn't want to mount a lithium under the hood, and couldn't find anywhere else to fit one.

I checked this after seeing these posts about blacking that ring out.. and it was already black on my offroad. Must be why I never noticed it lol.

 

Put the stock grille back on. I’ll probably put the pro grille back on before I go back to college on Sunday

 

Anyone know a good tune place in the Atlanta area?

 

I grabbed the OV software and their Tune packs. Don't need to go to a place if you do that. Else check their site for Pro Tuners in your area. OV/VF is the only one to crack the ECU so any tunes will come via their software.
