Security at my company informed workers that two vehicles got their catalytic converters stolen recently. Any Taco owners installed a cat converter shield/theft prevention device? If so, can I ask where you got it from? Thinking of installing one on my Taco.

2006 Tacoma Sport DCSB still running strong at 280K+ miles. These things keep running! One of the reasons why I ordered a new 2022 Limited hearing rumors that Toyota will be replacing their V6 with an I4 with turbo.

So far loving the solar panel (Yes its a Lensun), the vinyl didnt stick well to my PPF on the front part of the hood so I need to redo it, but other than that it works great. It just tops off the batteries, I run my fridge all the time and it keeps that running non-stop during the summer

I'm also running the Talons Garage cat protection plate. Covers the cats and is pretty beefy for an aluminum skid plate.

Really loving this truck. After 3 Tundras, I'm still getting use to the V6 again. I have to remember not to pull out so quickly....in traffic, in traffic, I meant in traffic.....lol

I see all these posts about chrome delete which I think is actually pretty sweet. Haven't gone down that road yet but probably will eventually. One thing I havent seen done is the chrome delete on the driver side, side mirror control on the door. What are people doing here?

I don't have much trouble with that, but I am driving stick so when I put my whole right leg into it the truck goes quick. I'm still running the stock tune, so I'm pretty sure the ECU is trying desperately to justify staying in Atkinson Cycle so it's a little jumpy until I hit about 4 grand in first.

A couple of posts where people scuffed it up and painted it. Also have seen a snug fitting black rubber cap on it.

There's a few post. But your mirror knob is "Black" Chrome. Not the silver chrome. you're good to go! Not worth the effort IMHO.

Very nice setup. Interesting to see that your 2nd battery fits behind the seat with the plastics removed. Do you have any more info or a writeup on this install? I'm mostly curious about what battery you're using. I'm running a dual AGM setup at the moment (using an OGE kit with the Blue Sea smart relay), but I would love to get into a Lithium setup for my house battery instead of the AGM. I just didn't want to mount a lithium under the hood, and couldn't find anywhere else to fit one.
