    If the shaft on your blower is larger than the keyed shaft, then we can turn a keyed pulley out to the correct diameter. Would be a lot harder if it was the other way around, obviously.

    My question would be, what is the interference for the new pulley/shaft design? That will determine the force needed to press the pulley on. Can it be done on the truck? Or just with nose cone removed? Or does the shaft itself need to be taken out. There are lots of delicate parts in the nose cone, would not want to damage anything in the process.

    We have talked about this option but I had not considered the possibility of damaging components by the required press on force.

    I have a line on a lightly used keyed shaft nose assembly. Swapping that out seems like the smarter move anyway.

    Eh, if you’re not likely to be swapping pulleys very often I’m not sure it’s worth the extra expense of a new nose cone assembly. But yeah would want to make sure to press it on the right way to start. I think taking off the nose cone and making a jig to hold it in the press would be sufficient.

    I think it would be since you're going to a 2.2 to start. As you'll be able to handle a 2.1 with the ECU no problem or a 2.0 if so desired later.

    That's kinda the way I was looking at it. Having a keyed shaft gives options. Start with the 2.37 then decide how much more I want/need.

    Hey folks!

    Some Colorado TW folks and I are debating a trip up to the Teton's area in mid May. Been trying to find some good wheeling trails but haven't had much luck on TrailsOffroad and such. Anyone in the area out there and able to advise on some more technical trails to run? We are all in pretty built taco's, not afraid to beat on them, and hoping for more than just fire roads

    Was trying to find snow pack information as well. The snow pack in Colorado likes to hang out at around 9500ft in May. Not thawing at 10,000ft+ until unusually July. Anyone know what elevation the snow pack is usually at in May in the Teton area as well?

    Not much there due to it being a national park. A few small spur road is all. Best bet is union pass area by dubois. Google maps will show all the forest service roads.

    No real off-road trails there.

    Nothing good is accessible on either side until late July, they continue to close as much National Forest access as possible on the Jackson side. Jackson Hole is pretty much an avoid at all costs situation anymore.

    Cooler options west of there in ID honestly more likely for wheeling.

    Site seeing? Can't be the Tetons or a run through Yellowstone.

    Study topo and satellite images of the area to find interesting places. Don't think I've been down a road out there that I thought wasn't worth my time. Nothing technical that I've found and I'm personally glad trailsoffroad hasn't taken hold in other states like it has in CO. The best trips I've had were the ones where we didn't know what to expect. Lots of good fishing out there.

    I do love a good spur road, where all of my most exciting "this one time I almost rolled my truck" stories come from lol. Some of the most precarious stuff I've gotten into with my truck was the result of a "Oh let's check out that spur road" decision lol .Definitely down for exploring. Sounds like it's just going to be more fireroad and sight seeing than wheeling

    Too similar to our here, in both aspect. Late snow pack and people trying to close a lot of trails

    Thought I'd share this in here since I know Monte and Ryan are usually into this stuff. This is what a buddy and I have been spending free time on. Looking to break the record of what this engine (Nissan VG33ET) can produce with a stock bottom end. We were within 50hp of it on the last setup but actually we're running into back pressure issues and finally ran out of injector duty (115% on 800cc injectors haha). Incomes the new manifold setup and dual ball bearing Fukushima Faster Fan we came up with...

    The front mount pipes are so close to the turbo it's actually gonna make it harder. Last bit of the exhaust is easy though 3 45° bends, some straight and she's under the car and easy to finish. Goal is 715, last setup was in the 680s. The crank is good to the 900s but these stock pistons and rods are scary haha.

    not sure how the IC is routed but it looks like to me the manifold will need tweaked to help it.

    nice! scary enough that its more about saying its been done and then it's just a matter of when it'll blow up? haha

    I should have taken that IC piping stub off, there's room to make it work with conventional bends. The only cutting and welding part of that will be rotating the throttle body neck.

    This car gets abused. The engine we built in my garage to set a record. $400 in parts, including the block. It has experimental MLS head gaskets that we thought would have given up before we even got near the 700s... its holding out well. When it sets the record we will back down the tune so it can be used as a scary street car, it weights just a shade over 2500lbs so even at 650hp its downright horrifying to drive.
