Hard top camper...many more to add+
Just read an article from consumer reports rating the Tacoma 5th place for mid-side trucks,
The ride was a issue, but the one that caught my eye was the seat height..low to the ground.. the Consumer reporter found this a huge issue..
I agree , like sitting in a go-kart..my Ford ranger seats were feels like it seats higher,

The one thing I found to solve this ? Was the adding the seat Jackers to front and one inch spacers on the rear of seats..rising the height of both seats. Much, much better and comfort..

My 2001 Toyota Corolla has electric seat adjustment…2001 mind you…. The 2019 Tacoma..SAD seat adjustments.. for $40,000 truck..? Manuel seat adjusters? Toyota going backwards?

I am impressed With what comes 2022 Nissen frontiers…the many features it has…but I will never buy the first year or two..of changes of models..
    Aloha

You don't buy these trucks for the seats. You buy them because they last.

I like the seat position and I didn’t want electric seats. Those things were a plus for me

Reminds me of all the YouTube video comparisons against other mid size trucks. They all come down to the lack of A/T tires that do come factory on some of their competition. It's a joke, but we all know who the clear winner is......once you replace those stupid "Kevlar" Highway tires.

Tacoma leads in sales & reliability, what more could you ask for.

Fifth place never felt so good! I like to be able to quickly move the seats with my hands from either side. Did they include the Maverick in the comparison? I saw one in the parking lot yesterday and man, for the price (if you can get msrp), that is a compelling truck-adjacent contender.

I just can’t get into the unibody “trucks”.

Who wants to sit in an uncomfortable seat for hundreds of thousands of miles?

Seat jackers helped a bit in my first gen, the front of the taco seats is awfully low. I noticed that too in the newer ones, it’s worse for tal people.

The only time that I've ever adjusted my drivers seat was before I left the dealership. Set it and forget it. I really don't understand peoples fascination with the electric seat adjustment.

I had a hybrid on order. Bought a Tacoma instead. Although I would have loved the 43 mpg, I am happy with my truck, especially after reading all the problems they are having(glowing cats, holes in fuel tanks, parasitic drains, etc) and the easily damaged blue plastic interior.

I need them because I share my truck with my wife and we both drive in different positions. I wish it had a memory on it because I have to fiddle with it every time.

I find the seat height the complete opposite. I'm 6ft tall and I see I sit to high up to the roof. I'd love to lower the seat little bit.
