Anyone selling a set of URD headers before I pull the trigger on a new set? 13 Tacoma… plan on deleting the air injection system so can be any 2nd gen header…

honestly... pretty damn close to that. lol front dipped in deep right off the bat, and I wasnt sure if it climbed back up or kept getting deeper. It was just my buddy and I in my truck by ourselves attempting a water crossing we've never done and the sun was going down. lol

 

I believe this has been mentioned before and head/ports are different so you will still need the correct set of headers for your year. @12TRDTacoma ?

The heads are not different. The manifolds themselves have the added provisions for SAI so if you wanted to delete SAI you can run standard manifolds 2011 and under.

@scooter82 is correct. The heads are different BUT urd uses the same design on his headers for 05-11 and 12+. The 12+ has two ports for the air injection is all. If you use the 05-11 on a 12+ you need the 12+ gasket.

So Justin, for my o2 Sim issue.. (if you didnt see above, I think I killed mine again) you are able to turn off all that completely via HP? How does that affect my emissions here if they just connect to OBDII? I have the option to register the truck out of city limits so I can avoid emissions all together if needed.. I'd prefer not to do that.. but will if that and/or the tune is my only option.

 

I have a set of DT shorties for an 05-11 if you're interested. But I know those long tubes are the bees knees. LOL!

 

I did see your situation. Those URD Sims are life savers, but so fragile..

I can do the "thing" in HPT for you, but your inspection station will see those readiness monitors incomplete. It's possible they'll fail you for that. I'm not sure how AZ does their stuff so you'd have to research that. However, if you are able to register the truck outside that area where the OBD inspection isn't required, we're golden.

So I guess I shouldn't be looking at new tremors with the 6.7 or the 7.3. my 7.3 psd is still sealed up very well so disappointed by this but not surprised. Guess I'll look at the GR Corolla or brz nao.
