And how did the Suburban hold up? You guys were lucky to get out of that one...

Grills? No but I'll keep an eye out...new bumper too...and judging from the puddle there, a new rad...and headlight. Everything else seems fixable maybe?

Got it towed to my buddies shop today, so the work will begin. Got a new bumper for it from a local guy here I think, needs a new radiator for sure, hood might need to be replaced, ordering newer and better headlights, and gonna need a grill. Hoping thats all.

Hey welcome from MSU in Bozeman! We might try to get something together here when it starts to get a tad bit warmer.

    Go Griz **cough**cough**

hahaha, yeah that sounds great. BF Goodrich has a trail listed on their site thats up in the northern part of the state, but it looks good. I'm not sure what the difficulty of it would be but it might be worth looking into.

are there any other good spots on the western half of the state?

we have a wayward Montanan who crossed the border and never came back as well...we still let him hang out here so I guess you're welcome too

 I'll be hitting up Missoula this summer for sure...found some great roads down south that I want to explore more fully once the snow is gone.

Getting my truck back from the shop today. $700 for a front diff actuator. Water got in and froze and messed everything up. I have no idea how water would ever get into something like that. I'd never drive my truck up and down a river. oh wait. This coming a week after I paid $1000 to replace my steering rack. I know its blasphemous but I'm kinda questioning the reliability of toyotas. Maybe I'm just too mean to mine. anyway...1700 that should have gone into mods now wasted.
does anyone know if you can put a breather on the front?

We don't like liars around here...we have photographic evidence... :spy:

Replacing your diff oil at the end of the summer could have saved you a ton! I did mine just because. It wasn't bad but I just wanted the peace of mind.

Yeah hindsight is 20:20 I'll be changing it next fall for sure. And I think I'm going to do the rear breather mod this weekend.

yeah or it might be the fact that you'll never take your truck into sketchy situations so I always have to entertain us...that or the 182,000 miles she's driven. either way I blame you.
