I'm sure you roll your eyes when you hear music you think is pretty stupid, or when you see an outfit you think is utterly ridiculous, or when someone says something dumb. So why is it hard to understand why someone playfully "bashes" an accessory like Raptor lights on a Tacoma?

It's a forum, this is where we express opinions and offer insights...not necessarily in that order.

There is a slight chance it can still work if it hasn't fried the capacitors and resistors by water performing arcs across the chip inside

i highly doubt there's any capacitors in most of these designs. first pic appears to be standard plcc form factor led's, likely overdriven, with poor circuit board thermal characteristics, all leading to premature failure.

I've gotten mine from CaliRaisedLED and they've been on the truck for years without issue.

I got my raptor lights from AliExpress back in 2017 and are still running strong. The Amber lens has kind of faded, but now it looks like selective yellow and matches perfectly with the TRD Pro Rigid Fogs w/amber covers.

Personally, i run them for added road safety during night driving.

Funny how people feel the need to tell others how "gay" or "stupid" something is when installed in someone else's truck. If he likes the grill "Raptor lights then fine, and if you don't then move to the next thread/discussion. He never asked "are my lights cool or gay?". Here is a little piece of advice to all the "cool kids" out here...... nobody cares what you consider to be cool or not; nobody can be as cool as you all. I wish (I know it will never happen) people can just for once respect one another and refrain from always shitting on others just to make themselves feel cool or superior. I've never told anyone if something is Fugly, Stupid, Gay, etc.; and I have seen so freaking ugly bat$h!t crazy stuff here, but that is fine. I just laugh, smile, and keep scrolling. Call me crazy, but I find it wild, to go out of my way to tell a stranger how "gay" or "stupid" he or she is for adding something I dislike on their rig. I guess doing it for the comfort of your home behind a keyboard can make this a bit easier. But would you imagine if I was at a car/truck meet-n-greet and walked to random people [strangers] and just say "I think your ratptor style lights are gay" and keep walking around or "Hey man, I think your side steps are fuking stupid and useless" or "oh cool, is that an OEM TRD Air Intake? I think you are stupid for wasting your money like that":rofl::rofl:I would be pimp slap so fast lol
