Diagnosing an IAC and a misfire code on this baby, it’s got a few miles on it!

It's more really "what are you doing tomorrow?"

Somehow I successfully invited myself to Zane @Speedytech7's shop, so I'm all loaded up to head over tomorrow for timing belt (+water pump, 105A alt, big 3 upgrade (maybe)), new clutch, and Diamond rear axle housing installation this weekend. Will be SO NICE to have a shop to work in, rather than outside in the rain!
Looking forward to seeing Ben @m3bassman and Mike @Digiratus there as well. :fistbump:

Trying to bring all the parts and tools. Surely though, I'm forgetting something...

Denso 105A alt and big3 are on my short list. Where are you planning on running upgraded and/or additional wires?

Bring any tools you think I might be SOL without. I am pretty sure I have everything, having bought it all to do the job last time, but I'm old and forgetful.

Some through the existing harness, others not (I hear). This is one I've blissfully ignored as Zane has been kind enough to (a) know it all and (b) build me the wiring at cost. This just happens to be a perfect time to do it when I'm in there anyway.

While you have your truck torn apart I'm going to build it. You can run it inside the conduit if you cut out the stock wires. I was just left those there and tape the ends and zip tie the new wire to the old conduit.

I'm not shotgunning tools into the truck haha I guess we will see what you forgot!
Come to think of it I could've loaded the kegorator into the back of the van for the weekend. Opportunity wasted.

Fixed my check engine light! I’ve been hunting for the issue to a P0171 lean code. 20 years old and 178k miles all of the vacuum lines were brittle and cracking so I replaced those but it didn’t help. I had a huge loss of power so I was leaning towards a loss of fuel pressure so I ordered a new pump. When I lengthened my pump for my fuel cell I also had to lengthen the little hose inside the tank on the pump. Apparently I did not use a fuel safe hose because it fell apart when I tried to take it apart. I went ahead and installed the new pump with new hose and power restored! Went for a drive and no light, no pending codes, very happy 5B3832F8-65F9-4306-81E4-3289BF345E1D.jpg
