Ok, so…. Here goes: The concept of the contest was borne of the contests I did in the past to unburden my house of beers that were not my style and we’re not cellar material. I found that I was seeing a bit of the same. The idea came that I could trade my castoffs for cellar material, but wrap it in a contest where my fellow TWers could offer and vote on the offerings. Spring forward to recently, when they removed some of my medications and restrictions… allowing me to partake again!

    THE CONTEST:
There are three lots. You may decide which lot you are “offering” for. (clarification: “offering”= single item. eg. your one for my many. I don’t ask or want “basket/collection”). Multiple entries allowed, but must have separate “offerings” available. This phase will end 04/23/2022 at 12:01AM CST. I reserve the right to reject offerings out of keeping with my “style”. My style is dark beers, reds, sours, saison, belgian and the like. The second phase will be peer voting for those offerings listed for each lot. Users may vote for what they feel is the best offering they want me to try or what they think is the best offering. You may only vote for one offering in each lot (yes, you can change). Winners may only win one of the three lots Voting will end 04/30/2022 at 12:01AM CST. I will pay for priority (tracking) shipping to you, you will be responsible for shipping to me (tracking). Any questions or ambiguity, ask.

    Challenge accepted.
I have a selection of 2 different IPA's and 3 different stouts. I will put them in order from what I TRUELY think that you will like the best. It is what I love as well. And let me tell you......anyone that has had treehouse will tell you.....once you have had a treehouse beer.....you will literally compare every beer you have afterwards to just 1 of their beers. Actually it really isn't a beer, it is more of a complex experience. I will also post the price for a "single can" of each specific treehouse beer to show the actual retail value of them when you purchase one from the Brewery and the rarity of the amount you could purchase per person per day due to their popularity so everyone gets a chance to enjoy them. If shipped to you.....it MUST be chilled and kept still for a minimum of 24 hours before drinking. It must then be poured into a glass DO NOT DRINK FROM THE CAN!
Choose the form of the Destructor....

    5. Juice Machine - excellent IPA with a hint of citrus $5.50 a 16 Oz can, limit 4 cans per person per day.
    20220414_224129.jpg
    20220414_224139.jpg

    4. Space and time - Deep thick stout with hints of bitterness and dark chocolate - $6.25 a 16oz can. Limit 2 cans per person per day.
    20220414_224038.jpg

    3. Very Green - What an IPA should taste like $4.80 a
16 Oz can. Limit 4 can per person per day.
    20220414_224108.jpg
    20220414_224113.jpg

    2. Hold onto sunshine - a Extremely delicious treat of chocolate and peanut butter. If you are a reese's peanut butter cup lover....this one is for you. $4.80 a 16oz can, limit 24 cans per person per day.
    20220414_224012.jpg

    1. Moment if Clarity - I will just say this......you think you can prepare, but you will never be prepared. You can lie to yourself all day long, but at the end of the day you will say to yourself, "damn...he was right....I wasn't prepared.....Fuck that's good!" $8.10 for a 16 Oz can, limit 2 per person per day.

    Nothing to correct @crashngiggles.

Nothing more, nothing less. You hit the nail on the head.

Once you've had a Tree House you'll never go back to anything else. Period.

I will let you know that I’ll take a pass on the IPAs. At a sampling I will try them and certainly share with friends, but it’s not my cup. The others have me piqued! Just let me know what lot you want to put what against and I’ll start tracking everything here…

Odell is local to me and is hands down my favorite brewery. They always have a solid selection on tap, as well as as a great tap room and patio. It's Colorado at its finest.

I'm in! And congrats on being able to partake again! That had to be a rough couple of years or so.

I'm interested in lot 1 (but would be fine with any)... I can offer a bomber of an excellent (if I don't say so myself) homebrew Chocolate Coffee Stout. If the keg doesn't float before the end of the month, I will also toss in a bomber of my homebrew Peanut Butter Porter, which is also pretty darn decent.

Chocolate Coffee Stout I'm drinking at this very moment...

Couldn’t agree more, we used to live up in Allenspark and Smokin Daves (Estes) was our go to. I’ve been trying to find 5 Barrel on tap and have failed so far.
