    Happy Colonoscopy Thursday! :bananadance:

Had an "explosive" night with little to no sleep.
Didn't eat since Tuesday night, so I had 2 Bacon, egg and cheese sangwiches plus a hash brown on the return trip.

What are you doing in the drawers? Anti skid mat? foam with custom cut outs? Figure it out later?

Effin A....CT not even complaining about owing the State tax every year. I sold my nice townhouse in late Summer and moved into a perfect smaller one in South Norwalk 2 bed, 1 bath, 1 car garage, walking distance to all. Landlord emailed me tonight saying she was planning on selling it when my lease was up in August 1st or I could "pay significantly more rent" which equates to minimum $500 or more per month and I won't be doing that.

What i'm pissed about more than having to move again is the prices for rentals have gone up here and work in a physical office so need to be down here. The kicker is i worked out a deal when i moved in she doesn't fix a thing and this place was trashed, 1000 tack holes/broken Sheet-rock in the wall, entire place required a repaint of walls and trim, bathroom got a new faucet, new dishwasher all put in by me since i had a better deal-she never lost a dime having to remodel for the next tenant -I just moved in a week after it was empty, so she made out pretty damn well...and i planned to stay a few years and here i am now having to apartment hunt this Summer. End Rant, sorry.

For now I'll be using the provided drawer liners. I may look at some "upgraded" liners at some point.

Can't stand foam cutouts, while they probably are the best for tool organizing, they slow you down as you try to "pluck" a needed tool. You can make the cutout larger but that takes more material and space.

Good luck, leave an open mind for the new one and see where it takes you. Seems like employers are putting a lot of support in keeping their employees these days.

Good morning all. Guessing some have today, Good Friday off. Happy Easter to those who celebrate.

Glad to hear the good news from those of you who had recent colonoscopies. Some of you know my cancer story so I won't bother repeating it. For those over 45 who have yet to get scoped, get it done. Early detection saves lives, it saved mine 14 years ago.

Smoking some fresh kielbasa today as part of family dinner Sunday. We'll see how this goes, first time.

Headed to Home Depot today, then the new job and after that, IKEA.

I'll be working at a Jeep/Nissan dealer. I should get a decal for my box that says "I understand the Jeep thing, that's why I drive a Toyota".

    To many, but never done
Not to be a downer but more to keep you aware, food is going to go up another 10-20% over the next few months I've heard.
As you probably noticed wood has skyrocketed again and will stay that way for awhile.
And everything is else just keeps going up.
First and foremost you can thank our government for shutting the country down due to covid, in tern the country ran out of everything because people were still buying but nobody was making.
Also the big quit happened and that made matters worse because still nobody making.
Everywhere I deliver and pickup I get the same story "we are hurting big-time due to everyone wants everything now but there's nothing to get".
Everyone needs more help at jobs, but apparently people nowadays just want to sit at home and get paid.
Also most everyone sees has hit a new high, but has anyone been paying attention to diesel?
Commercial trucks run on diesel so that goes up all your supplies go up, including gas.
There's already a shortage of truck drivers and the price of diesel is making it worse.
Owner Operators are straight up not working now or only taking extremely high dollar loads because it's not worth the trip when they have to fill their trucks up with over 1000$ worth of fuel every day.
This is a very simple case of cause and effect...
I bet we won't be shutting our country down any time soon.
I mean what the hell did they think was going to happen?
It's like not wiping your ass for a few months, shits going to get ugly (pun intended).
I'm afraid at this point it's only a matter of time until we fall into another recession.
