Thieving assholes! Wonder if a dog would've been alerted by the noise...large dog from the front door of the house would've been a nice surprise. Hope they catch the bastards!

Next door neighbors 1/2 an acre away both have dogs that put them out at night. Friggin dogs must have their own language, they bark at anything for hours. I don't think you'd know when a stranger is around or not, they just continuously bark.

...^^^... There is a way to stop your FOB signals & etc.

Buy a small lead lined bag off the internet. They were used to shield regular camera film from x-rays.

I keep a bag to put things in I don't want to emit signals like FOBs.

Many brands available ... but here is a pic ... Super Film Shield bag link below --->

    https://www.amazon.com/Unknown-Super-Lead-Film-Bag/dp/B07Y436GYM?crid=15MDUF50UK7MU&keywords=small+lead+bag+for+film&qid=1649978405&sprefix=small+lead+bag+for+film%2Caps%2C68&sr=8-11

These are great to keep around to keep your keys in a night without a lot of Hocus-Pocus FOB Reprogramming.

Serious question… What are Canadians supposed to do when intruders come into their house if they aren’t allowed to defend their family with a gun? Someone’s raping your daughter and you’re supposed to talk it out while you wait for the police?

While holding down the lock button, press the unlock button twice.
The LED in the upper right will blink twice, then pause, then blink twice again.

Go ahead and touch the door. Truck won't open.

The fob is off until you press a button on it.

Firearms are allowed in Canada. That includes hand-guns. And AR-15's. And shotguns.

Kinda like the US though, in some places they're more allowed than others. My friends in BC are well armed. Most legally.

As a Canadian, in a major city, I have never felt the need to have a gun. I know people who have them, but they are hunters. Guns aren't as readily available here as they are in the US. I thought it odd that you could buy AR15's at Walmart when I was down there. They rarely have pellet guns in our Walmart's.

Easy on the Canadians and guns. Hell, plenty of Americans don't have or want guns either. I know quite a few people in BC and believe me, they'll rival any American in the number of guns they own. Most of them legally.

Was the same way living in Europe. There are plenty there who own guns and plenty who don't.

That sucks man, this is horrible to think about. You need two more things.. a bright ass motion detector flood lamp (install it high enough, out of reach) and a small dog :)

I’ve seen that if your phone isn’t connected/related to the airtag.
The thieves (or non related phone)
Will be notified that an airtag that doesn’t belong to them is traveling with them. Thoughts??…

I think that's still a pretty good half-measure. If the thieves become aware that you're tracking it they'll most likely pull over and leave the truck. So while you might not catch them, at least you have a decent shot at recovering the vehicle. It's not like they're going to spend hours searching the truck for the air tags knowing that you or the law is on the way.
