    Hello everyone.

I have a 2015 PreRunner and I have been having some issues when shifting from park to drive and when coming to a stop. The truck sometimes hesitates when it's put into drive and I have to wait for the transmission to engage. Also when stopping, the truck sometimes, it feels like it hops to a stop and makes a pretty loud noise. It's not a grinding noise though. It doesn't do this all of the time and sometimes it can go days without doing it or some days it's only minor while other days it's constant. I have taken it to a mechanic and was told it was happening because the control arm bushings are worn.

I don't know that much about cars so I'm at a loss for what's going on.

Yeah definitely check transmission fluid level. (Watch the vid get acquainted with the temp check mode, and do it when the truck is stone cold on a level surface, will take 10-20min of idling)

The ra60f is a touchy beast, I’ve driven many a trucks/cars and it’s still hard to make it feel “smooth” IMO.

I thought the OP had the automatic 2wd which would be the A750E unless he has a 4 cyl then it would be the A340E.

Having the same transmission delay on my 2008 Tacoma. Seems to only do it when I start it in the morning.
