It's more powerful anyway, if I remember right. That's what ended up in the Heep and I've been happy with it.

They’re both 15 watts so power should be the same, unless there’s something else I’m unaware of.

Iunno. I thought I had read that it was, but I no longer trust my recall. I suppose a quick trip to Midland's website would settle it. But that's so much work.

We can just go with it's prettier to look at.

Nice install. Really nice to see a console that will fit a full sized license plate.

It’s freaking huge, I love it! Sorta related, Dometic makes a center console fridge for the F150 and I wish they made one for the tundra too. Would be sweet to have cold drinks in there for long drives.

Right on. That would be awesome!

As for the coms…. I have the same set up (radio) mounted on the outside of the center console. Only problem is, the display likes to collect dust and dirt that settles there. I keep saying I’m gonna move it but haven't.

Hi. I am not Randy, but know a thing or two about buying & selling cars. Go with carmax & buy their extended car warranty. It may be expensive but the peace of mind is priceless. Besides they seem to have the better truck for the price between the 2.
