Just think about all the truck washing you'll be doing this summer...to cool off!

I wash the front grill/headlights/painted bumper TWICE using a soft-scrub sponge glove to remove the splattered bug guts. That way, I don't have to use bug spray removal.

In the bug season - especially in the southeast with the "lovebug" influx, I coat the front end with paste wax but don't buff it. Bugs and wax come off easily after the road trip!

Oh yeah, I lived in Tampa for over 7 years and those freaking lovebugs are vicious. And if left untreated, they will eat right through your clear coat for sure.

i had the gray lettering in the previous grille. But when I needed the whole grille replaced, the lettering didn’t come in. So I went to tacovinyl and got the 202 glossy black lettering. She looks better

The best hood struts IMO. You can adjust the height of the hood. I extended my hood height opening to 6”. And there are no measurements needed when installing the struts.(except for the additional height of the hood that you prefer). Installed one on my friend’s Inferno Taco last weekend after I did mine couple weeks ago.

I also hang a piece of screen-door nylon screen in front of the radiator to catch the bugs. The screen is glued to two pieces of yardstick. It fits between the back of the grill and the front of the radiator (right up against the radiator). The bottom dowel (yardstick) just hangs free, is enough weight to keep the screen stretched, but light enough to not put a strain on anything. The top dowel is long enough (side to side) to rest on some trim pieces at the top of the radiator. I do have two spring clips there for extra peace of mind, but they aren't really needed.
Screen has been in place since 2019 and my radiator still looks brand new.

Hmm, not a bad idea. That probably also cuts down on the reflectivity of the radiator too. That would probably look good on a truck going ever closer to 'that murdered out' look without having to spray paint on the radiator.

Happened across this post after hearing about your plans in person yesterday. Stoked to see how it turns out. Also thanks for the load bar suggestion. Falcon RTT install was easy!

Installed front SumoSprings bump stops this morning. Great upgrade, truck feels much more composed under breaking and over bumps in the road. Brake dive is the biggest noticeable difference. Highly recommend them, before I was wanting to do 6112/5160s and these will hold me over for a while.

Great looking rig. What wheels do you have on there?
