Given all the other stuff stripped on mountain loop we were surprised how in tact it was. Then I saw the bent slider but even then still surprised..

They must’ve hit pretty hard, there’s a new one up there after every winter it seems… hope they can keep that area open.

Anyone know of a dealer around Snohomish county that would work on a lifted truck? I have a leak in my power steering rack and the last time I tried they said they wouldn't work on it if it was lifted and I had to return it to stock. Trying to get it warrantied, just under 10k miles.

What’s your favorite tool for hacking apart panels? I have to cut my buddys fenders to put his new bumper on (because 3rd gens aren’t as good as 2nd gens). Dremel? Jig saw? Angle grinder? Blow torch?

jig saw or a body saw would probably be best. dremel takes to long.

Jig saw doesn’t melt paint and easy to control if you go slow but have a grinder handy if it doesn’t get deep enough in some places. Having someone hold the flappy end is handy or stop and tape it up when it starts fighting you.

Another thing is if you use a fat marker like a Sharpie to lay out the line pick a side of the line to follow don’t destroy the line.

Plasma torch isn't sharp at all....

I did mine with a 5" angle grinder with a cutoff wheel. Make a light score mark first and let her rip. I find it easier to leave a couple inch piece in the middle as the last part to cut.

I’d likely be up to get out again now that the HC is installed. Liking it a lot better than the other bulky one.

Looking forward to not slamming that huge thing on the rocks or bottoming me out on steep inclines. Need to chop the exhaust still though.

I have cut the stock exhaust, TRD exhaust and now the URD exhaust.

Cut pipe can always be welded back together...but you won't want to
