Whew! I’m glad I’m not the only one who has to deal with that!

We have like, five big bins of Christmas shit in our attic and I dread having to retrieve it and put it back every year.

It really is amazing how much crap you accumulate as you get older haha

    ftfy ;)

literally 90% of what's in our attic is my wife's family's stuff, her family sees her as the Keeper of All Things Remotely Sentimental (you know, the stuff they don't want but don't want to throw away so they give it someone else)

we have enough dishes and bowls that we could probably supply the entire neighborhood

To be fair, my wife could say the exact same about me and how I've filled our backyard storage shed beyond capacity with my crap haha

Dood! My mother in law is the same way!

We get all of the heirloom stuff and I swear to god it’s still trickling in. It’s cool in some ways, though. She just got her grandma’s silver set to go with her family china set, so that was kinda neat. They’re now proudly displayed in the hutch in the dining room.

Otherwise, to me it’s just more bins for the attic, but it makes them both happy, I guess!

yeah it's the one reason I'm OK with spending the $$$ to fly up to visit rather than drive...there's only so much my mother-in-law or her aunt can convince us to take back home with us when we don't have the ability to

And you’re already getting a taste of how much STUFF kids accumulate. It’s insane!

Did I mention that we have an entire shed just for bikes and Kid Shit?!

Same. I’m 100% using my old Jeep parked on the side of my shop as an awning for a bunch of Taco parts I should have just thrown away haha

aint that the truth, we've begun to get creative with storage inside our tiny house for all the toddler toys and clothes. But much like how our 2 year old outgrows brand new shoes in just 2 weeks, we are bursting at the seams

Now you understand why we got the shed

    It's mainly her stuff.

My tools will live in the garage.

With the cost of everything having skyrocketed. There's a good chance I'll have to sell all my trucks parts to avoid paying to move them:pout:

If I didn't have a tiny human under my tutelage I would definitely get this doorknocker, if only because the idea of scarring door to door Mormons pleases me

Leave them no other option, make a padded door (no knocking) and no doorbell. Only thing left to them to use to fulfill their "mission" are the smooth hard testes of entry.
