    Too many owners of vehicles nowadays don't even know what they are driving. If they were asked, they'd say 'All l know is that it's a truck".

    Many don't care. It's just a thing with 4 wheels. Most probably struggle with the simple act of putting fuel in it. Putting air in the tires is way beyond most.

    All you'd do is confuse the hell out of these people by making that wave. They'd probably think it was sone threatening gesture and call the police on you.

    I had two different Pro drivers wave at me, and yes it was at the mall. I wasn't in a Tacoma, I was in a work truck. I think they were relieved that I acknowledged that I saw them, and was not going to crash into them.
