Oh and yeah it rides like a cadillac compared to my 95 wrangler. Somewhat quiet, decent road manners. Still sloppy compared to the subie, but apples and oranges. Not much on the get up and go end. Maybe the 2L turbo is better. I held out for one last manual tranny. I probably wont have an opportunity to buy another new vehicle with one the way vehicles are going.

Has anyone here had recent experience with Haley Toyota in Richmond? I'm looking to buy my first taco, and was referred to them by a couple of people. I'm hoping to find somewhere that doesn't charge over MSRP, as rare as that seems to be becoming these days.

Gaithersburg Toyota charged my wife $700 over MSRP. Springfield Toyota was trying to charge us $50k for a Rav4 Premium

No Sir… bought mine at McGeorge, but that was back in Dec. of 18 before all this shortage crap started. Do not remember if I got it at, above or below MSRP.

    Good luck.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Need to tap into some knowledge here. Looking at a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid for a commuter car. I drove one of these for a few weeks when my '14 Focus was in the shop (one of several times). I liked the car when I drove it then, and will be going to look at it Saturday. Not a bad car by the research and ratings, but wondering if those with more knowledge about these things might know of issues with these. It's a bit more than I want to spend, but the car sips fuel, rides nice, and for a big guy, I was comfortable. And the three year old truck now has 95k+ miles on it. TIA.

 i dont blame you. My first one was a pos. But i bought someone elses problems unknowingly. I hoping this one will be a little more reliable. If Toyota would bring the 6 speed manual back to the t4r, i would have one of those. Thatll probably be my next vehicle regardless.

Looks like its in decent shape. With that many miles on the odo, i would want to see service records to make sure everything that needs to be done, has already been done. Also, im not sure if dealers can plug in and tell what sort of shape the battery pack is in, but i doubt it is at 100% anymore. I have heard that some hybrids will charge an arm and a leg for battery pack replacements.

I hadn't thought about the lifespan on the battery. Something to research as it is a reason I wouldn't want to go full electic. There is a VW GTI diesel 6 sp manual I was think about as well. The battery may sway my thinking a little.

It's definitely not a GTI. Didja mean TDI? Being a VW-head I say go for it. Fun and fuel efficient. But that's just me.

No if it really is a GTI (GTD) then get it now because we never got those here!

    1. 2012 GTI 2 door 6 sp manual gasser 145k

    2. 2006 Volkswagen Golf GLS TDI, 1.9L turbo diesel, 5 sp auto, 4 Dr, 180k

Gasser has fewer miles, just not sure about longevity. Diesel, if maintained is a 400k engine. Both are clean from the pics.
