Hi. I am not Randy, but know a thing or two about buying & selling cars. Go with carmax & buy their extended car warranty. It may be expensive but the peace of mind is priceless. Besides they seem to have the better truck for the price between the 2.

Those are both great choices. One thing to note is the Carvana one is 4wd, the Carmax one is 2wd which explains the similar price since one is SR5 and one is limited. I'm not sure how often you need it but something to be aware of. Aside from that, they're pretty similar. Both TRD offroads but ones a limited and one's an SR5, but the only real difference I'm seeing is the leather seats. Anyways, my vote is for the Carvana one.

I would absolutely buy through them again, and remember that I also bought my wifes car through them too. Both have been trouble free.

Routed the power and antenna a little cleaner and gave it a bath now that the pollen is slowing down.

Yeah, missed that. The carmax one has the ugly tan interior, which I missed when I was looking last night, so it is off the list anyway. With the snow here, I definitely need 4wd.

Whats the best way to run cables through the firewall in your experience? I always end up fighting through a grommet.

Best way? Only way? I have a tool that's made to feed wires through grommets. It's amazing, but can't always be used. I think it's made by Lisle.

I always tried shoving a coat hanger through that's taped to my wires and half the time it works, the other half it just pulls the grommet out, and all the time its a pain in the ass.

In this instance I ran the cable down to the frame and then up into the cab through a floor grommet. Easier and not near any other power cables for RFI.

Normally I’ll use a long screw driver to pry the grommet open a bit and shove the wire through the gap. It’s never sealed but I’ve never had water intrusion issues.

Can the antenna wire run next to the power wire without interference?
