    Re the Poll:

In November 1978 I drove from Laramie, Wyoming to Casper in my 1973 Pintosaurus wagon.
(Just did a quick search on the mileage and it's 152 miles.)
At the time, there was precisely one gas station in between, at Medicine Bow (not that I knew it at the time)...
...and I passed it up.

Between Medicine Bow and Casper, there were not only no gas stations, but zero houses.
I think I might have seen one car, going the other way.
I made it to Casper on fumes.

It’s a CVT Mount Bachelor. Still in great shape. The cover is a little sun faded and tree scraped.
At this point I’m not refusing any reasonable offer for anything

Ohhhhh, you got the pros??? No, you're good. Its like your wife is a 9; you don't get a divorce to remarry a 10.

    In regards to the poll:

I panic if my gas needle hits 1/4 of a tank. My OCD can’t handle it. I wouldn’t pass a gas station. The members of my family will drive on fumes….. drives me crazy if I’m with them!!
