    thanks for your comments.
    i agree there are tradeoffs.
    i had not fully considered kendas or the BFG KM3 mud tires.
    ive been watching the moab easter rock crawl festival on youtube. might go to moab next year.
    i now have 60,000 miles to think about my duratrac purchase;
    unless my block heater burns up the truck first!!

    Duratrac, however, do not like 8" lag bolt :(

    UPS truck kicked one up in front of me at 65mph

    Cost me two tires lol. They were worn enough I didn't want to replace just the one. Expensive bolt

    Nails can hide. Lagbolts tend to make themselves known lol

    It is what it is, luck of the draw I guess. I haven't had a cracked windshield or blown tire like that for years and years.

    So now next week I'll probably take a brick through the windshield and run over a ladder in the same day.

    Lol it’s so true and there’s nothing you can do. I got a 3” deck screw in my mountain bike tire and I was in the middle of the frickin forest.

    I rented a truck was returning it 2 miles from the airport and took a rock cracked the windshield had no insurance on the rental…

    I saw them stacked in my driveway when I got home Wednesday and thought, 'Shit, they sent Mud Terrains by mistake'.
