Went to install my Total Chaos bed stiffener today and noticed the left bed bolt was stripped. Must have been done by previous owner. Any advise on how to solve this issue? Does anyone have the OEM part number?

Maybe get lucky and throw some vice grips on there. Or weld a nut to it

Can you drive a Allen bit in there? Also get under there and spray the threaded end where it goes into the frame with a lubricant.

Have not tried that yet. Whatever I do will destroy the bolt. So need a replacement before I do that. Been struggling to find part number.

I typically call the dealer and talk to parts department. Super easy.

No welding on the plastic bed whatever you do. A big easy out hammered into it may do something.

Did you try with a tight fitting T55 bit? It might have enough bite to get it loose? Maybe back it up with some vice grips on the bottom of the head.

Just in case, the tightening torque is 60N-m. See attached.

that doesnt look stripped out. I would only use a high quality torx bit, not some cheap bit. Hammer it in and give it a quick bump with an impact. Trick that has worked for me on super tight stuff is to bump it slightly tighter and then loosen it.
