What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I know I'm not the one you were asking and what I have is more than just wireless carplay, but I have the carlinkit ai box and it's awesome! I don't even use the wireless carplay function but it does have it. I just set my phone as a Hotspot for the ai box and I have a Playlist of music and stuff that I play on the factory head unit. It's a little pricey but we'll worth it

Can you connect a portable hard drive? And is there a way to connect it behind the dash and run in the glove box?

 

It has built in memory and has an sd card slot as well as a sim card slot if you don't want to use your phone as a Hotspot and is cheaper than toyota wifi. As far as plugging in behind the dash, I haven't tried so idk if the has unit has a USB port on the rear but maybe. I just used double sided tape to mount it in top of that cubby underneath where the USB ports are and used the short USB cable so it's hidden pretty well

Received my Clazzios today. Suppose I will begin the task of installing them if the weather plays nice this weekend.

Read the instructions and watched a few install videos. Anything else I should know - other than brushing up on my cuss words?

 

Funny you should ask. Two post, 7 2x4's, 20 dog ears and 2 bags of cement over $157. A guy from work added 14 dog ears to the stack for free that he wasn't going to use. Said I owe him a beer. The 2x4's actually came down in price from the one's I bought 2 weeks ago. Went from $9.98 to $6.98 each. Made 3 trips for wood to do some fence repair and so far have spent about $350. Prices are crazy.

 

Installed Ford tow hooks to the rear of the Tacoma. These are from my 2003 F-150 FX4 that was wrecked years ago. I saved them and saw RobMotive do this. I had the powder coated Performance Red.
