All competitors stand to gain when one of the others fail. If there's 10 businesses competing for $1B in sales and one goes tits up the other 9 get a bigger slice of the pie. lol

I think this is what you're missing out of this whole thing. There is no free enterprise and competition at the top. It's all a handful of firms conspiring together to extract money from the rest of us. "Capitalism" in this country is completely broken unless you're a corner store competing with another corner store. Everything else exists at the whims of the ultra wealthy banks and hedge funds.
