rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
    The title gives the clue.

Looking for ideas for when one needs to accommodate a passenger in the back. (It's bound to happen)

What to do on longer rides?

    Looking for ideas

Hope the person is small cuz there’s not much room back there

best way is if it’s only one person so they can sit crossways

Besides a real bed length that's another reason I went Access Cab - don't need no stinkin riders...

I'd make a little upholstered piece that fits in between the seats. Plywood, thick foam, fabric. I think you can pop the center console thingy out too which may or may not be helpful.

How much of a longer ride are you thinking though?

Don't want no rear seat passengers in my truck. That's what the SUV is for.

LOL! I hear ya! I bought the AC for those exact reasons. (And also that I wanted the 4 cyl) I wanted to be able to say 'Sorry... No room in the back for anybody else..' Especially little kids blowing snot and McD's french fries all over the place.

Not much on the 07 yet. 18 is gone, but was a greata truck. TRD Pro grill, Gator FX3, Homelink mirror, Black out badges & exhaust tip, Remote start. Future TRD exhaust, skid plate.
It's pretty cramped back there. When I had my AC I always tried to have the person sit at an angle so they wouldn't have to fold like origami back there. I wouldn't recommend it for a long distance though. If you had to, maybe a throw pillow to put behind their back so that angle doesn't get too uncomfortable.

If you're trying to fit an average size human back there it really helps if you remove the legs from the torso first.

+1 on the “I didn’t get an access cab to haul passengers”. I’ve saved so much gas by saying “sorry, only has two seats”.

I just drive. If there is someone on the rear jumper seat...That's for him / her to sort out.

If I need to haul people I use my Wife’s Corolla. A couple of times, people have asked to ride in the back to grab lunch, but I don’t worry about comfort because they wanted to ride in the back of an Acccess Cab. Normally, it is me and maybe the Wife in the front with my Golden Retriever in the back on his platform. Access Cab fits my needs. Bonus is I have a 6 foot bed that fits in my garage with room to walk around the truck with the garage door closed.

Yeah, when i have had people back there, its been one at a time and they sit sideways lol. They said it was comfy enough for a 25 mile ride when they sat sideways
