I cringe at the thought of a S&W knife. (Taylor Brands) makes the majority of them. I used to sell them. Had a bunch come back broken shortly after purchase. So many better options out there. :)

I'm kinda hesitant to buy OTFs from anyone but Microtech. All the ones I've ever messed with from different companies don't fire as strongly, or inspire a lot of confidence to stay on track if you actually had to use it for something rigorous.

    two words.... Guardian Tactical
I have the 025 and the 035 models. I have a Microtech Hera as well, and a Heretic Manticore X, and a MOD Triton. I have a lot of hand time on many knives. I can say without hesitation that the GT models are without a doubt as good as MT or Heretic with regard to build quality. MT has fancier grinds and materials but the GT is 1/3 the price. GT has Elmax Blade, Aluminum Scales, hardcoat Ano, and the 025 is HANDS DOWN the ABSOLUTE sharpest knife out of the box I have ever touched. The Heretic was well built but poorly thought out and very likely the dullest knife OOTB I've ever seen. I love and own many Microtechs but they were the only big fish in the pond for a long time. the times they are a changin.... VA is liftin' its bans in July BTW!! woohoo!!!

I'd probably have to go to Blade HQ in Utah if I wanted to check those knives out. PVK in Vegas might have a couple, but it's been a couple years since I've been there. Not too often retailers carry much outside of your typical mainstream brands.

Pretty stoked on these Topo engraved micarta scales from Josh @ NML Customs. They were OD Green but I dyed them black.

Unfortunately these practice knifes I’m making are not heat treated. My heat treat oven is still 4-6 weeks out from being built by evenheat. But that means lots of practice grinding in bevels till then.
I really like this blade shape. I’m going to say it’s kind of small camp utility knife. My wife has actually been using it all day today working on the garden. Lol.

Once I get my heat treat oven in I can definitely make one for you.

I also really like the shape and size of that one. When you get the oven setup let’s talk.
I carry a CPK edc3 and love it. Would enjoy something from you to go with my every day use. I spend a lot of time camping, and messing around in the woods. I also tend to use what’s on me for chores, so I prefer a fixed blade as my edc.

The topi with the satin black is killer! Top Shelf looking, and I know that engraving gives you some extra grip.

Just whats in my pocket right now. Plenty more but it's been my edc for about 3 or 4 years! Very snappy release and holds a pretty decent edge
