I am in the market for some wheels and tires and was just wondering what you guys have found to be the better A/T tires.

i have a 2009 double cab 4x4 3inch pro comp lift and am cerrently running a 285/75/16. aside from pulling off the front mud flaps i have no rubbing at all. my issue is the wheels, i am running an old school wagon wheel with 1/4 inch spacers so i need to get rid of them before i start shooting lugs off but another issue i am having is im running a mud tire and the ballencing is driving me nuts ( real bad vibrations in the wheel between 45 and 65 mph )so they need to go. Plus i am mostly running highway (40 miles a day) but do go off roading from time to time.

i was just looking for input on some good A/T tires with great highway performance and a good off road performance and a good life span. road noise is not an issue

Hankook Dynapro. Good looking tire, great highway and off-road performance, and WAYYYY cheaper than most others. Best value around by far.

Check out the Falken rocky mts!
They are awesome off road and I got
all 4 for 640$ and then got a 50$ Rebate as well!
    vs like $900+ for BFGs...

I have been running the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S for the last 20k, I like them. I dont off-road a ton so I can't tell ya how they perform in the mud and what not, but on the road in the summer or in 10" of snow they haven't let me down yet. They are pretty quiet and smooth riding as well. I had Toyo Open Country A/T's on my last rig and liked those too.

BFG's KO's are the way to go. I've averaged at least 80,000 miles on road with these baby's. Off road or in the snow these tire just dig a trench until they get traction. Forget the Yokohomo's, they suck. I had them on a trade in. With your lift the size is your own decision.

+1 on Yokohama Geolander A/T-S's. I just got mine put on about a month ago, but they have done very well in the snow and ice we have had recently. They handle well on pavement also. I haven't had a chance to hit any mud yet, everything is frozen.
