Looks great. The 0 offset seems to be the magic number to prevent rubbing. Have you had a chance to take off roading yet and really flex it?

Second that. All my research has gotten me to arrive at the same conclusion. Too bad there are very few good options for 0 offset in the 16” size.

I haven’t had a chance to do any off roading other than a fire road, but it all felt great and didn’t rub on big bounces.

You have a spacer lift in the front and a block in the back for your lift.

Ok, wasn’t sure if those were spacers in the front or not. Kind of thought so but wasn’t for sure.

    thanks!!

I have to admit, I was starting to get skeptical of these claims of running 285s without trimming/CMC, etc. Turns out I just needed someone who knew what they were doing on the alignment rack!

With the continuous rising price of fuel, just wondering if it's still worth getting the 285's if you were to add up the increase in fuel cost every fill in a year's time?

It depends on how much you drive and your driving style. My MPG decline has been minimal. Still getting 20-22mpg on freeway (I drive slow) and 14-16 city. A tank of gas last me about 6 weeks so the difference in fuel cost and MPG is pretty negligible so far.

for that tire size not to rub it's either lifted a couple inches or chopped up a little.

Got 285's and Fox shocks on my '17 gen 3 TRD Offroad mounted at BajaHQ in San Juan Capistrano. Being fairly new to this I wasn't sure what to expect. After driving a couple hundred plus miles with them here's my impression so far.
Pros: Ride quality is greatly improved. I was worried about it being too stiff for daily driving but it feels just as plush as stock and larger bumps and hits are soaked up way better. Happy !
Mileage: it's hard to get an exact # now obviously with the odometer being off a bit but so far the difference seems minimal. The MPG feature reads "about" the same as it did before both around town and freeway. Happy !
Drivability: I was worried about the "Gear searching" on the freeway which was a little irritating stock. I was surprised that it actually shifts and drives better now, not sure if it's due to the slightly taller gearing from the bigger tires or if it has more of a load so it shifts a little later and doesn't go into a higher gear to get better mileage ? Not sure why exactly but I guess I don't care LOL. Stock it bothered me, I figured the bigger tires would exaggerate the problem but it was the opposite, it drives and shifts better now. It was the one thing I really didn't like about the truck honestly and was planning on fixing it somehow. Now it's "good enough" and off my list. Surprisingly Happy !
Clearance: I didn't measure it before and after, but by eyeballing it and before and after pics it looks like I gained 2-3 inches between the tires and shocks.
Cons: I have a little rubbing on bigger bumps when cornering. I took it back and they made a couple "adjustments" and trimming. It got better but is still an issue when cornering over bumps and dips. if I can make it hit on the street I'm sure it'll hit offroad so there's more to be done there. I haven't started hacking at it yet, that's my next area to search out in this forum. They're 17 inch rims, I'm not sure of the offset but I'll find out. All in all I'm happy with them so far.
So I have a little rubbing to address, Rock Sliders and some more under belly protection and for what I do with it I should be good.
    For awhile anyway.... lol

Hello all, in the market for new tires soon. I’ve decided on 285/70r17. Rolling the 265 wrangler duratrac now.

Question is, what’s everyone favorite 33” tire? I’ve thought the duratac have been ok. Just looking to change it up.

One of the most common is the KO2 A/T. This is what I'm going with, and heard it's pretty solid on and off-road

As mentioned, the K02's are very popular along with the Falken Wildpeaks. I have the K02's and so far love them.

I have the Eibach Stage 1 lift kit , Icon AAL & 285/75/16 KO2 ( not installed yet ) Should I order some 1.25 spacers to avoid issues with the UCA or I wont have issues with aftermarket UCA's?

You might be good with the aftermarket UCA and not needing the spacer. It should be able to pull your tires away with a good alignment. I did not have the aftermarket UCA and it was a must to have the spacer. The spacer did make it look a lot better as well.
