Have a done a fair bit of research so far, but as this is my first “lift” mod, would appreciate some advice.

    The problem:

    1) Stock 2018 with a canopy and some tools (approx 200 lbs)
    2) I mount a roof top top tent for several months of year (approx 90 lbs)
    3) I tow a smaller boat 16.5 ft with no motor estimated tongue weight (approx 160 lbs)
    4) I have some sag and want stop hitting my bump stops, which happens occasionally. I am okay with an inch or 2 of rake (that being rear of the truck coming out of this higher than the front)

    The solution:

Option 1 - Icon AAL SKU 51100 https://www.iconvehicledynamics.com...-96-up-tacoma-00-06-tundra-15-add-a-leaf-kit/. Comments on leaving the overload spring in would be appreciated as well.

    Option 2 - Toytec AAL SKU TAC-AL

Comments and advice as I am a bit of newbie with suspensions…

Leaf pack option #1 would be good IMO

Rtx, but I would go with option #2. The nice thing is you can try all three with a bit of work. Check out the thread on the Icon RTX.

AAL is great as a temporary solution and a long term sag out back to original height. A new leaf pack that will handle the added weight is the best option.
